Success Stories

FROM OUR MEMBERS

Phyllis Amukowa, Founder of LEP Forensics

"I really wanted to grow my business but I did not have the necessary skills to make that happen. I needed a short, masterclass course to equip me with the right business tools and that is exactly what I got from the Future Females Business School programme. I started using new marketing tools such as email marketing and during the programme signed up 126 subscribers with an average of 40% open rate. I learned about new financial tools which has helped us keep track of our finances and for the first time we have come up with a 3 month budget. Just as a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step, I believe that a successful entrepreneurial journey begins with the Future Females Business School programme."
Zulekha Mwanzi, Founder of Safiri Express

"The Future Females Business School programme has really changed how I look at and run my business. The knowledge and expertise I have gained in such a short time is incredible from branding, customer targeting, MVE, lead magnets, the list is endless. Since I started, I was able to really change focus of the company by looking at the lowest hanging fruit with regards to my target market and the quickest and least expensive way to launch the business. We successfully launched Safiri Express in Mombasa in partnership with Safaricom and Madaraka express and it has been great so far."

Terry Macharia, Founder of  Secvet

"I had participated in a number of accelerator programmes and had vowed not to do another one again. However  when my application was successful for the Future Females Business School, I decided to do it one last time. I am very happy that I decided to go through with the programme. I have learned a lot, but my struggle with sales and marketing cannot go unmentioned. Through the programme, I am happy to share that now I have a clear sales strategy. I would like to advise anyone considering applying for the programme to do so as it is very fulfilling and worthwhile.”

Frida Mwangi, Founder of KaziRemote

"I was hopeful about joining the Future Females Business School. I would say the programme came at the right time, a time that I really needed to focus on building a successful and profitable business. Getting clarity was the greatest achievement for me. I also loved the marketing and sales modules. My promise moving forward is to elevate the African digital worker by providing them with consistent work. I have already recommended people to apply for the next cohort. My advice to future entrepreneurs is to find mentors who have already built successful businesses. I believe we've been impacted by Future Female Business School because they preach what they drink. They are successful and have a road map to building successful businesses."
