Success Stories

FROM OUR MEMBERS

Fayne Soida, Founder of Plants By She

"When I started Future Females Business School Youth Programme I was unsure about my business and what direction I should take. I wanted to join the programme because I knew it would help me launch my business successfully and also, my Sister Chebet Ruto who did the GreenTech programme encouraged me to enroll in the programme. In 3 months, PlantsByShe has gone from a simple idea to a thriving online business. I would definitely recommend the programme, not only is it great to get the skills to run your business successfully, but provides an outstanding network of supportive, entrepreneurial women."
Caroline Nganga, Founder of Rejuvenating Nature's Beam

"Through the Future Females Business School AgriTech Programme, I learned exactly what it takes to run my agribusiness. After graduating from the programme, I launched a range of health products and I have begun the trademarking process of my brand. I am forever thankful for this opportunity to go through the AgriTech Programme. It came at the right time. Thank you to the Future Females Team and UK Kenya Tech Hub."

Grace Rie, Founder of GreenLeaf Energy

"Working in a male-dominated field, I wanted to gain as much knowledge as possible to position my business for success in the Renewable Energy sector. The Future Females Business School GreenTech Programme gave me the skills I needed to manage my business more professionally and since graduating from the programme, my profit margins have increased and I have gotten new customers. I would recommend the Future Females Business School and UK-Kenya Tech Hub programme to anyone that is looking for coaching and acquiring great business skills."
Alice Migwi, Founder of Gardenology

"I joined the Future Females Business School with the expectations of learning how to structure my business to be more efficient and how to use technology for growth. I must say my expectations were exceeded because of the depth of the lessons as well as the supporting materials and links. I am excited that I have been able to clearly define my target audience for all my brands, create a sales strategy and growth strategy for 2022. This is something I have never been able to do. I am so excited to have achieved this. Further to this, I was able to put together and submit a pitch deck for an accelerator programme and for funding. This is all thanks to the Future Females Business School and UK-Kenya Tech Hub!"
Josephine Wanja, Founder of Black Dot Limited

"I was unsure of what to expect from the programme when I signed up. I had little to no experience with agriculture but I had a passion for it.  Unfortunately, it is difficult to get genuine help from other entrepreneurs because they feel like you will compete with them so I was glad to network with like-minded female entrepreneurs. The ladies were amazing and very helpful and our coaches were very keen on each entrepreneur's growth and development. Going through the modules gave me insights into things I had never thought would be relevant to a small business. I would recommend this programme to anyone especially if they are just starting out. It creates a great foundation for success."
Judy Gikaru, Founder of Satima Farm

"The programme gave me great insights into how to run my business successfully. The programme helped me align my personal purpose with my business purpose and challenged me to set daring and audacious goals. The programme also gave me clarity on how to create a sound operational model that I now feel confident to implement in my business. I thoroughly enjoyed the coaching sessions because the coaches gave practical advice based on their own experience as entrepreneurs. I would highly recommend the programme to other women."

Ruth Wanjiku, Founder of Muzura Ecospaces

"When I first heard about the programme, I knew it would be a valuable programme for me to join. I had been on my entrepreneurial journey for about a year, and I knew that joining the programme would be an opportunity for me to learn from other entrepreneurs. In the last three months, I have learned how to define my brand and how to increase my customer base. I have also learnt how to position my business online and how I can reap the benefits of social media. Other key lessons I learned include when to scale, defining my customer, keeping track of finances and pitfalls to avoid as a new business. This programme has given me vital knowledge that I will use to grow my business."
Freda Mburunga, Founder of Consigner Kenya LTD

"This programme was a really great experience for me, and far beyond my expectations. The time spent with other entrepreneurs and the coach was extremely valuable. The programme has taught me that with the right knowledge, the sky is the limit. The impressive curriculum has given me tremendous inspiration, insight and increased my confidence in my entrepreneurial venture. Going forward my vision is no longer to impact my immediate community but the whole nation. I would recommend more female entrepreneurs to sign up for the programme not only to sharpen their skills but to also acquire tried and true practical knowledge on how to run a venture profitably. Thank you for the exciting learning experience!"
