INTERNATIONAL TECH HUB NETWORK

The International Tech Hub Network is a UK Government initiative delivered by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport as part of the Digital Access Programme. It aims to catalyse more inclusive, affordable, safe and secure digital access for excluded and underserved communities in Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Brazil and Indonesia. The International Tech Hub Network reinforces the UK’s position as a future-focused global technology leader and tech partner of choice for digital transformation and innovation partnerships - working with others to advance common interests and find sustainable solutions to global challenges. In 2021, the International Tech Hub Network will sponsor 1,330 early stage female entrepreneurs through the Future Females Business School programme, supporting them to develop digital skills, and to bring their tech-based and tech-enabled businesses to life.

“If women started businesses at
the same rate as men, global GDP
could increase by $28 trillion (the
size of America and China’s GDPs
combined), by 2025.”
Future Females, in partnership with UK-South Africa Tech
Hub, have created a white paper report detailing the
individual, economical and social benefits of an increase
in female owned businesses, as well as the challenges that
